HIGHLIGHTS & ACTIVITIES DAY TO DAY ITINERARY

Day 1:

Airport to Sigiriya:

Warmly welcomed by our airport representative, you will be introduced to your dedicated chauffeur for the tour and transferred to Sigiriya.

En route:

• Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a unique project aimed at saving Asian elephants.
• Optionally, visit the Open Zoo, a zoological garden in Pinnawala.
• Stop at the Spice Garden on Kandy Road.
• Enjoy a Village Tour.

En route:

• Visit Dambulla to explore the famous Golden Rock Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On completion, continue to Sigiriya.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 2:

Sigiriya to Nuwara Eliya:

After breakfast:

• Visit the Spice Garden on Kandy Road.
• Explore the Temple of the Tooth.

Then, leave for Nuwara Eliya.

• Visit a Tea Factory and Tea Plantation.
• Stop at the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple.
• Enjoy the scenic Ramboda Falls in Ramboda.

Check in to your hotel.

Evening:
Commence the sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya, including:

• Nuwara Eliya Town and Marketplaces.
• A Strawberry Farm.
• Golf Course and the Hill Club.
• A drive around this hill station, viewing Lake Gregory.
• Visit Seetha Amman Temple, Ashok Vatika, and Gayathri Peedam.

Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3:

Nuwara Eliya to Ella:

After breakfast:

• Visit the Rawana Waterfall.
• Explore a Tea Plantation.
• Stop by the Ravana Temple.
• Hike Small Adam’s Peak in Ella.
• Experience Flying Ravana.

About Ella:
Ella is a beautiful small village in Sri Lanka’s hill country, featuring a handful of shops, hotels, and guesthouses. It boasts an almost perfect climate and offers a scenic vantage point with breathtaking views. On a clear day, you can see right across the south coast of Sri Lanka.

Located just 8 km from Bandarawela, this small town serves as a base for many trekking expeditions into the surrounding countryside.

On completion, return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 4:

Ella to Yala:

After breakfast:

• Embark on a jeep safari in Yala National Park by private jeep, accompanied by a tracker.
  • Yala National Park is the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka.
  • The park consists of five blocks, two of which are open to the public, along with adjoining parks.
• Visit Kataragama Maha Devalaya and Temple.

Evening:
Spend leisure time on the beach.

Overnight stay in Yala.

Day 5:

Galle to Bentota:

After breakfast:

• Visit Galle Fort.
  • Located 116 km from Colombo, Galle is famous for its historic fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 1663 by the Dutch.
  • The fort captivates visitors with its historical buildings and charming locals.
  • An afternoon stroll in the fort is best concluded on the western ramparts, enjoying a stunning sunset over the Indian Ocean.
• Explore Sanjeewani Mountain Rock.

• Visit:
  • River Safari and enjoy a fish massage with carps in Madu River (Cinnamon Island) in Balapitiya.
  • Turtle hatchery in Kosgoda.

Morning:
Spend leisure time on the beach or engage in water sports activities such as:

• Windsurfing
• Banana Ride
• Jet Ski
• Water Skiing, and more.

Evening:
Relax at your leisure on the beach.

Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 6:

Bentota to Colombo:

After breakfast:

• Begin a sightseeing tour of Colombo, including:

Colombo to Airport:
